BraSoul

BraSouL is a collaboration project for the love and need of more Brazilian music in Miami. Debuting in 2013 at the historical Van Dyke Cafe, Brasoul has been performing mostly in the Miami- Dade and Broward area. Held jazz residencies at The Eden Roc Hotel, The Regent Hotel and The Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach, featured at the Brazilian Fest 2015 in Pompano Beach, performed in venues such as: The Van Dyke, Ball & Chain, The Stage, The Moca Museum, The Frost Museum, Studio 619, The Raleigh Hotel, Lagniappe House, Ball & Chain, The Artisan, The Freehand, Books and Books, Ventana al Jazz in the Gables and more. Brazilian tunes from classic brazilian songwriters such as Djavan, Gilberto Gil, Seu Jorge and Jobim are mixed with soulful songs from Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, Bob Marley or Jill Scott played with capoeira rhythms, drum and bossa, samba and soul.
