AcostA

AcostA de todo is the new album by Andrés Acosta, a Venezuelan musician who has left everything: his country, his bands, his impatience and even his previous pseudonym with which he built eleven albums in over twenty years in bands such as Horacero, Bueninvento and other projects in which he grew up as a musician and producer. From that dispossession and almost forced passage through the path of simplicity, it sprouts and manifests as AcostA and presents “AcostA de TODO.”

“Acosta de TODO” is, in addition, only the first chapter of a two-part album and that will be completed in October 2018. The Album was recorded in each house that AcostA lived, with limited and modest equipment that were calibrated little by little according to the disposition and instructions of Juan Olmedillo, producer of the album and in the middle of a lot of trial-and-error.
The product of that task was delivered to Max Martinez who had the commendable task of making it sound uniform, of polishing it finally so that it was a disc and not a set of loose pieces.
