A violinist of 17 years, Chippy B is a local Miami artist who has played with jazz protégé Arturo Sandoval, the Dublin Symphony Orchestra, the Jamaican Symphony Orchestra, and more! She is all about that U, currently in her senior year at the University of Miami. She plays a funky medley of music that ranges from pop favorites like Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon,” to swing melodies such as Stéphane Grappelli’s “Elite Syncopations” to classical favorites like the Lalo Symphonie espagnole. She is currently branching out from her usual classical pieces to explore the jazzy side of the violin. Come out to see a passionate violinist play her heart out in the Miami streets!
