Volunteer Registration | Buskerfest Miami

Volunteers are what keep the Buskerfest Miami heart pumping. We are always in need of thoughtful individuals who enjoy live concert production and love community building. To join our volunteer ranks, complete the simple form below. Volunteers get to work directly with the performers, are entitled to awesome Buskerfest Miami swag and are invited to special Buskerfest Family events.

This year’s festival is scheduled Friday, December 13th.

Station Volunteers:

Shifts available 4:00PM – 6:00PM day of festival (check-in is 30 min prior to shift time)

Keep areas of egress clear
Direct people to performance areas
Be familiar with performer schedule and keep things on track
Be ready to assist as needed in making way for performers, etc.
Hand out Passports to attendees
Explain to attendees the purpose of the Passport
Place sticker on attendees’ passports in appropriate circles
Encourage people to explore the other stops, local businesses and to stick around for Buskextravaganza and the FREE concert in Bayfront Park!

Bayfront Headquarters Volunteers:

Shifts available 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM day of festival (check-in is 30 min prior to shift time)

Check-in volunteers; hand-out volunteer packs, schedules and location assignments
Able to answer questions about festival, discounts, schedules, etc.
Accept donations for T-shirts, posters and other Buskerfest swag
Encourage people to explore the stops, local businesses and to stick around for Buskeextravaganza and the FREE concert in Bayfront Park!

Hold Harmless Agreement/Media Release
Please read the following hold harmless/media release agreement carefully and type your initials in the field below to accept the terms.

The participant, by intialing below, hereby voluntarily assumes all risk of personal injury, death, or property damage upon him/herself and indemnifies, releases from liability, and holds harmless Buskerfest Miami, Inc. and its officers and directors, employees, agents, representatives, and insurers and the facility for any accident, injury, illness, death, loss, damage to person or property, or other consequences suffered by the participant or any other person arising or resulting directly or indirectly from the participant’s participation in the event held on Friday, December 13, 2019. In the occurrence that the participant is injured, the participant agrees to assume any financial obligation, either through the participant’s personal health insurance, or through some other means, for any medical costs in which the participant incurs. In the event of any emergency, the participant authorizes medical attention from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for his/her immediate care and agrees that he/she will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered. Therefore, each person registering him/herself or family member should review his or her own health insurance policy for coverage. It must be noted that the absence of health insurance coverage does not make Buskerfest Miami, Inc. and its officers and directors, employees, agents, representatives, and insurers or the facility automatically responsible for payment of medical expenses.

The participant further agrees that their self, his/her spouse, assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives will not make any claims against, sue or attach harm to harmless Buskerfest Miami, Inc. and its officers and directors, employees, agents, representatives, and insurers and the facility for any loss or damage resulting from the participant’s participation in the event.

THE PARTICIPANT IS AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL DANGERS INCIDENTAL TO ENGAGING IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EVENT. THE PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT THIS IS RELEASE OF LIABILITY, A WAIVER OF THE PARTICIPANT’S LEGAL RIGHT TO COLLECT DAMAGES IN THE EVENT OF INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE PARTICIPANT AND BUSKERFEST MIAMI, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND INSURERS AND THE FACILITY AND THE PARTICPANT SIGNS IT OF HIS/HER OWN FREE WILL.

Participant gives permission for Buskerfest Miami, Inc. and its officers and directors, employees, agents, representatives, and insurers and the facility to use any photos or videos taken during the event for business purposes and public display.

I HEREBY AFFIRM THAT I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE STATEMENTS. I have read this Hold Harmless Agreement and understand that it is an absolute release and I execute the same freely and voluntarily and accept and agree to its terms and conditions.

THE PARTICIPANT IS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. IF UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, A SEPARATE FORM WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU WHICH MUST BE COMPLETED BY AN AUTHORIZED PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
