Ahhhh, there’s a chill in the air and a floating frenetic energy as we enter arts season in South Florida. Buckle up because it’s going to be a long and crazy ride. These great events should help you forget about the impending doom of next Tuesday’s general election (go vote).

Pulse at the New World Symphony with Spam Allstars, 9pm
With their powers combined, the New World Symphony, DJ Le Spam and the Spam Allstars are CAPTAIN CLASSIC MASHUP! Sorry, terrible reference. What isn’t terrible is our favorite local music legends combining forces with some of the most talented young classical musicians in the country. It won’t stop global warming, but it will be an unforgettable night of sight and sound. Special shoutout to Nu-Deco Co-Artistic Director, Sam Hyken, who composed several of the pieces on offer and to Spam for their recent album release!

Average Joe Sunday Market, 4-7pm
You may think that buying visual artwork by legit artists is a privilege only for the elites (whatever that means), but you would be WRONG! Long-time rabble rousers Yo-Miami are restarting the Average Joe Sunday Market where local artists sell affordable, original pieces and you can enjoy craft beer, bites and music by Oigo. And there’s a Nintendo 64 if that’s not enough to keep you occupied. Dibs on Goldeneye. Stick around afterwards for the always funny, always rambunctious Just The Tip Comedy Show.
That’s all for now. Catch you next week!
Much Love,
The Buskerfest Team
