What an incredible 12 days in Ireland! We ventured to Dublin, Belfast, Portstewart, Londonderry and plenty of sites, castles, ruins, pubs, outdoor performances, sea port festivals, museums, breweries and distilleries. The famed hospitality of the Irish is a real thing. It just might be the most welcoming country in the world.
We were also able to catch plenty of buskers in each city – public performance is something encouraged and supported by the municipal governments here. They know that musical streets full of people promote growth and vitality in the heart of their cities. We’d be wise to follow their lead.
