Greetings Buskerfanatics – we are fresh off the plane (relatively) from a whirlwind European vacation that took us to five different European countries including the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Italy. All of these cultures have their own distinct traditions and wonderfully unique people, architecture, cuisine, and arts. However, one thing they all share is a love and admiration for BUSKERS!
From London’s West Bank where they have special ‘busking zones,’ to Italy’s legendary piazzas, Europe has talent in spades and it is often found in the most lively and engaging public spaces. We were treated to incredible acrobats, musicians, illusionists, visual artists and fire jugglers, all of whom amplified their surroundings and created absolutely electric atmospheres. Enjoy some choice photos from the trip as well as the smiling faces and crowds that came together to appreciate some art in public spaces.
